Take a look with LING | "Uni-President Department Store"

You might not know "Uni-President Department Store," but you might know its earlier version, "Uni-President Hankyu Department Stores."

If not, perhaps you recognize "Taipei City Hall Bus station" or "W Taipei"?

"Uni-President Department Store" is one of my recent favorites. It has chain restaurants on the 7th floor and connects to MRT Taipei City Hall Station on B2, leading to Eslite Xinyi, Breeze Xinyi, and Taipei City Government. Thanks to its proximity to the City Hall Transfer Station, it's at the core of Xinyi District.

It features affordable Japanese brands. B1 has big fashion brands, and B2 has a flash sale area near the MRT entrance. Uni-President Department Store uses rewards or sales to attract shoppers.

Remarkably, it manages crowds well, functioning as a hotel, MRT station, and shopping mall without conflicts. The underground parking is also well-organized. MRT Taipei City Hall Station is quicker to reach Xinyi shopping than Taipei 101 Station.

大家對「統一時代」可能不太熟悉，那應該對「阪急百貨」（前身）會比較熟悉吧～

如果還是不熟悉，對「市府轉運站」或是「W Hotel」會不會比較知道呢？

「統一時代百貨」是我近期愛逛的百貨之一，除了7樓有幾家連鎖餐廳（有開飯！），地下2樓更是連結捷運市府站的出口，可以貫穿到信義誠品、微風信義和市政府，簡單來說，它因為是市府轉運站的地位，所以得天獨厚的佔據地利上優勢，說是信義區的核心一點也不為過。

內部主打品牌也和旁邊的信義新光、微風、遠百完全不同，以相對較低價位的日本品牌為主，而在地下一樓多為大面積連鎖服飾品牌（Uniqlo、Gap等等）逛起來舒服許多～地下2樓除了基本的美食廣場外，在捷運口一進來就有一區域為快閃區，以我近幾年的觀察來看，那塊區域非常有效的抓住捷運旅客，快閃區的主題多是主打折扣品或特價品等等，人潮都絡繹不絕呢！因為統一時代的定位和一般百貨不一樣，所以它利用較高回饋或週年慶提前來抓住客群

但最讓我感到驚奇或讚嘆的地方，是它在 人流上的分流 ，ㄧ棟建物兼具5星飯店（W Hotel）、市府轉運站、捷運站、百貨商場的功能（進出口），但飯店住客、捷運旅客和商場消費者卻完全不會有動線上衝突，在地下停車場也有好的分流（W Hotel、市府轉運站和統一時代都各有消費者進出口）如果我不說或沒親自走過，你可能都不知道原來「統一時代百貨」這麼多功能，串聯性這麼高

如果信義區的新光三越、微風或遠百你買不起，可以去統一時代百貨逛逛🤪會比較好下手❤️

然後啊～其實捷運市政府站比台北101站更快到達信義百貨圈（我自己覺得啦，而且不會迷路🙂）

偷偷說，其實統一時代地下2樓的快閃區是違規使用，因其原使用為通道，所以才以「快閃店」或「流動攤販」的型態呈現！如果你閒閒沒事做，可以去觀（ㄐㄧㄢˇ）察（ㄐㄩˇ）看看

The moment you step off the escalator on B1, you're right at Uniqlo. There's no separate enclosure; it's open with just floor design to distinguish the space. There's not even a theft prevention system.
